We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud infrastructure design and implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reduce Time-to-Market: Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to reduce the time it takes to develop, test, and deploy new software
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- English level: C1 or higher (Advanced).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focusing on AWS; additional experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and CDK
- Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript) • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, including experience in backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Experience in change management processes and release versioning strategies • Strong knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with .NET development (version 6 and above)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Understanding of data processing and analytics technologies, including big data and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to architect complex, scalable systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) are highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct and facilitate backlog grooming sessions, ensuring that technical debt is addressed, and new features are properly scoped
- Participate in sprint planning, providing technical insights and helping to prioritize work items
- Act as a Change Manager, overseeing the change management process and ensuring smooth implementation of updates and new features
- Develop and maintain a release versioning strategy, coordinating with development teams to ensure consistent and meaningful version control
- Design and implement multi-region, high-availability architectures using services such as Route 53, CloudFront, and Global Accelerator
- Optimize existing cloud architectures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design efficient data pipelines and storage solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and developers
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our architecture
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with business goals and requirements
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
