Your New Role
Bleacher Report is a leading digital media source for sports content and conversation.
This is a temporary, full-time position at Bleacher Report, through at least February 15. It can be worked from a remote location, or from our New York or San Francisco offices. We are seeking a writer to produce articles around the day's biggest national stories and upcoming events, using existing reports, reaction and social media to create content in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your Role Accountabilities

• Working with editors to create new reports and update existing articles.
• Ceating high-visibility pieces of content around sports' biggest events, on-field action and off-field issues.
• Following protocol to meet the demands of a deadline-driven operation that works closely with Bleacher Report's Programming and Quality Control departments to create clean, engaging, accurate and timely content.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong knowledge of a wide variety of sports, with some in-depth specialties.
• 1-3 years relevant experience in digital sports media.
• Ability to write about all aspects of sports on and off the field.
• Ability to write quickly and cleanly, according to AP style.
• Ability to use a variety of media to illustrate content.
• Comfort in online publishing and word-processing systems.
• Ability to navigate social media for newsworthy reactions to sports events.
• Effective communication and multi-tasking skills

The Legal Bits...
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
