Lyft is looking for an experienced Community Specialist who knows how to motivate a team and wants to make a big impact at a fast-growing company. You will manage a team across Seattle and will design creative initiatives for improving the driver experience. You’ll work with other operations team members who are focused on supporting Lyft drivers in the Greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day operations of one or more sites
  • Hire, train and develop a team of Community Associates
  • Lead regular team meetings to ensure team members are kept informed and aligned to Lyft’s vision
  • Review NPS feedback to identify ways to improve the driver service experience
  • Report on business and team performance metrics
  • Ensure your location adheres to Lyft's brand, operational, and community standards
  • Continuously innovate to find new ways to improve the driver and team experience
  • Assist in de-escalating challenging driver interactions
  • Represent Lyft's brand, mission, and culture both inside and outside of the organization

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in customer service roles such as retail, technical support or hospitality and 1+ years managing a small team
  • Embody servant leadership and operational excellence
  • Knowledge of and passion for the rideshare industry (bonus points if you’re not just a passenger but a driver too!)
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal savvy and passion for working with people
  • Ability to learn on the fly and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
