The Content Manager is responsible for creating content aligned with the Customer Success operating rhythm including but not limited to digital motions, articles, case studies, best practices, articles and training collateral. This includes conducting discovery of Customer Success needs, creating content from scratch, as well as curating existing content. A major component of this will be conducting discovery to understand what will be most effective to help our customer success team. A secondary portion will be packaging content in a manner that is usable. Finally this role will play a key role in organizing content. As Outreach grows, we create more and more content - this role will be responsible for keeping that content organized and up-to-date so it is usable.


This role reports to the Sr. Director of Customer Success - Scale.


We are open to hiring this role in Seattle, Washington or Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build plan for content creation based on learnings from Customer Success Managers, Customer Success Leadership, and data
  • Create content based on this discovery
  • Create and track KPIs to measure performance of content
  • Understand the landscape of content and resources currently available
  • Package new and existing content into easy to use bundles for customer success managers
  • Keep content updated and organized
  • Share content updates with CSMs and CS leadership

We think you’ll likely succeed if you have the following experience 4+ years of experience in a content creation role

  • 2 - 4+ years of experience in a content creation role 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience building executive presentations
  • Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work independently at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to distill information down to actionable insights
  • Experience in Webinar Production (GoToWebinar, Zoom)
  • Copywriting (especially technical writing)
  • Copy Editing experienceIntermediate skills in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets

Bonus Points:

  • SaaS/Tech experience
  • Google Analytics experience
  • HTML (for building email campaigns)
  • SEO Experience
  • Admin knowledge of Learning Management Systems (Skilljar)
