Outreach is the number one sales engagement platform with the largest customer base and industry-leading usage, helping companies achieve their revenue goals and drive more insightful engagement with their customers.

Thousands of customers, including Cloudera, Glassdoor, Pandora, and Zillow, rely on Outreach to execute a repeatable playbook, drive collaboration between sales and marketing, and deliver higher revenue per sales rep.

The Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated content marketer who loves writing, editing, and amplifying amazing stories. The right person will have an eye for top-quality B2B marketing content and a data-driven mindset to help connect content strategy to business results. You’ll play a key role in elevating Outreach’s content marketing program, to ensure we serve the right content (tailored for the right persona / industry / segment) throughout the customer journey. Our team thrives on testing new ideas, building new processes, and connecting with new audiences.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Collaborate with product marketers, freelance writers, designers, sales professionals, customers, and industry experts to understand, scope and produce relevant content that meets the needs of internal key stakeholders and most importantly, our audience
  • Maintain and improve our content planning process and calendar through Asana so we can execute on strategy in a highly scalable, repeatable way
  • Leverage PMM-driven messaging and narratives to write and edit compelling, research-driven content in all forms and to serve all stages of the customer lifecycle. Whether we’re building brand awareness, accelerating pipeline, winning deals or evangelizing our existing customer base, you’ll help develop it all— so you must be experienced / excited to produce everything from: An infographic to drive awareness; An e-book to drive interest; A product demo landing page or product overview to drive decision making; A sales pitch deck to drive action; An ABM-inspired video script to drive customer expansion
  • Help us work smarter, not harder, by brainstorming how we can best repurpose each asset to fully maximize the potential of each effort
  • Lean in with our community team and social media management team to reimagine our social media / online engagement strategy— creatively leverage the incredible content you help create, to drive meaningful conversation with our online community
  • Manage contractor relationships and successfully deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget--this includes scoping projects, managing workflows, reviewing content, effectively answering questions to set our contractors up for success
  • Publish and internally socialize final pieces to all appropriate channels, per content dissemination plan, to ensure our entire team (from demand gen, thru to customer success) can leverage the content you produce, where appropriate
  • Highlight content’s impact on revenue, by tracking and documenting content performance— more importantly, help us analyze the data to inform future content plans

Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years in a content marketing role at a marketing agency or high-growth SaaS company
  • Portfolio showcasing B2B demand generation work samples required
  • Experience working with freelancers and vendors to create branded content that sings
  • Impeccable organization and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with many stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success with growing traffic and driving revenue through content marketing
  • The ability to think creatively and share brilliant ideas of how to make content of all types interesting and impactful
  • A high sense of urgency and organization while juggling multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
  • Experience as a sales professional and/or creating sales content is a plus
  • Proven ability to follow editorial governance and coach other writers and vendors to ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone

You should include these in your application:

  • A link to your online portfolio and password and / or a few examples of content you produced
  • Your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • A few words about why Outreach is interesting to you
