Your Rebel Team, Marketing
The Marketing team is focused on clearly articulating Rebellion's mission and technology to drive business success across multiple audiences. Our work is to establish Rebellion as a trusted partner to US, UK, and allied defense and national security communities, and for Rebellion to serve as an authority on AI, software, and emerging technology to positively advance industry-level conversations.
How you'll make a difference in this role:
We are looking to add a Content Strategist to our team. As a Content Strategist, you will be the primary owner of Rebellion's storytelling across our owned channels. You're a strong writer comfortable in mediums from white papers to blog posts to social media, who gets energy from shipping high quality content consistently. You will collaborate with product managers, engineering and sales to translate highly technical and complex concepts into compelling content for public consumption.
This role reports to the VP of Product Marketing.
What your mission is:

  • Develop a robust content calendar to promote various themes at a consistent cadence: Rebellion thought leadership, product leadership, and brand.
  • Write and publish content for all of Rebellion's owned channels: Website, Blog, LinkedIn; as well as thought leadership whitepapers.
  • Use narrative to protect and elevate brand and product equity to signal modern, premium technology.

You may be fit for this role if your expertise aligns to:

  • A generalist skillset that thrives on end-to-end ownership, with a passion for writing and storytelling
  • Proven experience working closely with technical teammates such as software engineers and product managers to understand, translate, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in compelling fashion
  • Experience in owning and driving engagement on organic social media accounts, particularly LinkedIn
  • Ability to incorporate SEO into writing for the web
  • Track record of successfully leading complex content projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other functions and iterate with urgency
  • Experience working in defense or intelligence preferred

The annual salary range for this role as it is posted is $115,000 to $145,000 regardless of final candidate location within the US. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity. Benefits listed in this posting may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Rebellion Defense. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.

The Nature of our Work:

We are driving fast change to an extremely regulated industry. Many of the national security programs that are supported by Rebellion's products operate in secure environments and access to those spaces and the data in them may require an active personnel security clearance. It is a requirement of this position that you are able to obtain and hold a personnel security clearance at the right level.
