About the Role:

The PitchBook marketing team is looking for a highly creative and passionate Digital Producer to drive our online webinar and event strategy. This role requires the ability to balance project management and marketing impact, so we are looking for a candidate eager to experiment while continually improving our ability to reach our audience.

The right candidate will be at their best working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while exhibiting ownership over an aggressive roadmap of marketing opportunities. Important to this role, is the ability to build trust and manage others through influence while working effectively across various internal teams – demand generation, product marketing, product management, customer marketing, editorial, analyst and customer success.

The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company's growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive a webinar strategy designed to drive lead generation, educate our client base and strengthen our brand position
  • Manage the end to end webinar production process from audience acquisition to post webinar follow up
  • Work cross functionally with campaign managers, product marketers and the creative team to ensure webinars are on brand and promoted effectively through marketing channels
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the PitchBook brand and research to build an effective and engaging content strategy
  • Work internally with our analyst and product teams to develop content and bring in external industry experts where appropriate
  • Effective in creating and delivering content pitches to subject matter experts in a way that creates buy-in and fosters collaboration across teams
  • Manage communication between sales and customer success to ensure coordinated promotion and timely follow up
  • Evaluate, measure and report on strategic effectiveness of webinars
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2-4 years relevant experience in marketing
  • Basic video editing skills preferred
  • Familiar with live video equipment a plus
  • Ability to learn technical skills to aid in event production
  • A True Team Player. Ability to work productively across diverse teams in rapidly changing situations including live events. Partnership and collaboration is a fundamental requirement
  • Relentlessly High Standards. Demonstrated ability to create successful marketing-driven online event programs. Dependable and able to work without significant supervision
  • Highly Organized. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities. Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Excellent Communication. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Technically Savvy. Experience with Marketo or other similar marketing automation programs preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
