This person will play a critical role in ensuring the stories our most senior leaders tell are clear, logically sound, and compelling. You’ll work alongside a group of curious writers and editors who craft narrative content for a range of disciplines including marketing, communications, and engineering. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled writer and critical thinker to get substantial exposure to executives, learn the inner workings of a tech operation, and impact the strategic direction of a public company.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders across the company to craft inspiring and impactful strategic content
- Improve engagement and understanding of our company strategy by elevating how that story is told
- Write and edit long-form narrative stories that align with our company strategy and vision on our external blog
- Navigate ambiguity and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant experience as a journalist or long-form story editor in media, a strategist at an editorial agency, or an editorial content writer at a tech company.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. You can help engineers find a clear way to describe how our desktop sync engine operates and work cross-functionally to translate a corporate strategy for a broad audience.
- Strong executive presence. You can confidently and clearly communicate with senior leaders, earn their trust, and reliably deliver on deadlines.
