Blink is a UX research and design firm that works with great companies to create meaningful digital products, brands, and experiences. Blink is looking for talented and experienced Freelance Content Strategists who can be available for client/project-based needs.

What it means to freelance with Blink: 
We work with Freelancers on a project-to-project basis. Projects at Blink usually range from 1-4 months in length. Opportunities can be both full-time or part-time depending on the project.
We love working with Freelancers long-term, but work opportunities can come and go throughout a year.
Freelancers are typically 1099 independent contractors, paid an hourly rate for a specified amount of hours for a client project.

Responsibilities

  • Define content journeys for the business and other decision makers.
  • Build the resulting content strategies designed to accelerate the customer through the lifecycle.
  • Create a content plan to address the insights in the customer journey and strategy, ensuring the content is aligned to what the customer needs at each stage.
  • Relentlessly champion the customer and the experiences they have with the content you create—how they find it, how they consume it, how they use it to make decisions.
  • Leverage data and market insights for decision making including content optimization and new concept development.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer centric mindset and demonstrated ability to put the customer first.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with program performance tracking and communications.
  • A demonstrated track record of business impact through content
  • Well-versed in digital marketing best practices, including journey mapping.
  • Deep understanding of content disciplines, including SEO, content strategy, and execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience
