Position Summary:
We're looking for a collaborative, creative writer to elevate our storytelling. Reporting to the Content Manager, you will ensure our brand voice is consistent across all channels and to multiple audiences. As Senior Content Writer, you will produce compelling and impactful copy for printed materials, email, web, mobile, video, social media, etc , that appeals to our audiences and boosts awareness, with the ultimate goal of helping pet owners enroll with Trupanion .
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Write engaging, brand appropriate, persuasive and concise content to empower our target audience to take action and deepen their engagement with the brand and increase conversion rates
• Become a subject matter expert on all things related to the Trupanion Policy and business
• Develop messaging that differentiates Trupanion from others in the market
• Coach cross-functional partners on content best practices
• Collaborate with web and UX teams to create thoughtful user experiences through creation of new consumer-facing content
• Participate in A/B testing of copy to determine high performing subject lines, headlines, and CTAs
• Work with video production team to develop concepts, storyboards, identify tone and write script content for videos

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• 5+ years ' of writing experience
• Strong creative writer with an eye for turning sophisticated ideas into easily digestible copy
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment of highly-visible projects often requiring short turnaround times
• A strong collaborator and communicator with the ability to absorb constructive feedback
• Experience in the insurance industry is required; veterinary experience is preferred
• Knowledge of SEO methodologies preferred
