About the Role: 

RealSelf’s consumer marketing team seeks an experienced, hands-on Senior Video Producer to play a pivotal role in creating a world-class, digital video consumer experience and pushing the brand into new creative territory. The Senior Video Producer must be passionate about modern beauty and aesthetics and RealSelf’s mission to help millions of people make smart, confident decisions about cosmetic treatments and procedures.

The ideal candidate is a creative and resourceful person who can conceive and execute compelling short-form digital video content for our website and digital platforms. The individual will be responsible for holistic video strategy and all elements pre- and post-production including ideating, casting, hiring crew, producing, directing and overseeing post-production for editorial, branded, and marketing video content. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is a requirement for this role. 

In This Role, You Will:

• Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop, optimize and execute RealSelf’s digital video strategy and bring the organization and the causes it champions to the forefront of industry leadership
• Have a strong vision to experiment with formats and storytelling techniques across all digital channels
• Own the video programming lineup and run day-to-day operations and production across editorial, branded and marketing video content 
• Pitch, develop and deliver fresh video content and series that engage and build loyal audiences
• Use both data-driven and creative solutions to make decisions that increase video traffic, watch time, engagement and sharing 
• Partner closely with content and marketing to grow RealSelf’s YouTube audience
• Forecast video trends to meet new video audiences

Skills:

• Strong and adept storyteller with a deep understanding of how consumers engage with Internet video 
• Deep knowledge of digital video platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Facebook and the ability to measure and optimize performance through detailed analysis
• Proficient in video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and shooting skills are plusses 
• Outstanding organization, time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet short and long-term deadlines and work in a rapidly changing landscape
• Ability to communicate efficiently with various stakeholders and generate buy-in on vision and strategies
• Wide network of freelance shooters, editors, on-air talent a plus

Required experience:

• 7+ years producing and developing various types of digital video content including: explainers, interviews, narrative videos, investigative and documentary style pieces, entertainment and celebrity content, sponsored/branded content, sizzle reels
• A proven track record of successfully driving improvements and growth on YouTube and other digital video platforms
• Strong interest and enthusiasm for beauty and aesthetics. 

Work Environment:

The RealSelf office sits in a historic Pioneer Square building. Employees also have the option to bring their dogs to work!
