Alo Moves is a fast-paced fitness company where people can unite in their shared love of movement and mindfulness with a mission to empower people to live healthier, more fulfilled lives. We are looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Video Editor who will bring their creativity to the Alo Moves brand. Strong candidates will have a broad understanding of media production, an open-minded approach to collaboration, be organized and have a strong attention to detail, and a desire to push for what’s possible in the media landscape.

The Video Editor must have a keen photographic eye useful for editing live footage. They should be well versed in the fundamentals of good storytelling with strong editing skills and an understanding of industry trends. The Video Editor needs to have a strong sense for collaboration and problem solving, and a passion for yoga, fitness and overall healthy living.

This is a full-time contract role and you must be based in the Seattle, Washington area or can access it easily. Currently you are able to work remotely but may need to commute to our office in Belltown once or twice a month as needed. At this time we do not offer relocation packages. Job Requirements

• Exceptional eye for video production, photography and visual communication
• 5+ years editing experience (especially with Adobe Premiere, multi-cam editing)
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop
• After Effects experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of video codecs, frame rates (H.264, ProRes, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Show commitment to team through collaboration and positive, proactive communication
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end edit of major fitness titles (Series and Single Classes on our website) including instructional videos, promotional interviews, marketing videos, promotional photography and graphical overlays
• Edit instructional video content (10-60min videos)
• Edit promotional videos for our marketing channels including Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns
• Edit featured brand stories and other narrative content
• Maintain an organized post production process including asset management, project management, and post-production review
