ABOUT THE POSITION 

As a Video Production Specialist, you are part of our storytelling team of creatives, copywriters and marketing professionals. The marketing team serves the needs of the business as well as the internal needs of other departments in the organization.You will have a keen understanding of our audiences, and will work with the Senior Digital Content Producer to take written and verbal ideas and transform them into compelling on-brand visuals. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of video production (cinematography, light, sound, staging) and post production (editing, color grading, sound engineering), with knowledge of animation/motion graphics in After Effects. A digital portfolio of work must be submitted with application.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of video content for online distribution - editing, animating, visual graphics, and sound.
• Film PTCs (piece to camera), interviews, panels, and b-roll, both on-location and in the office as projects dictate, managing the setup for shoots, including composition, lighting, placement and type of microphone, and positioning of individuals on camera (if appropriate).
• Collaborate regularly with creative teammates, marketing teammates, and senior management.
• Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture in video and photo form.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience filming, editing, and animation/visual graphics
• Great creative eye for visualizing and shooting concepts effectively.
• Practical knowledge of videography gear - DSLR cameras, boom mics/lapels. lighting, teleprompters, etc.
• Understanding of composition, lighting, and sound in a production environment
• The ability to work within the constraints of both brand guidelines and short timelines
• Proficient with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition
• Ability to apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment 
• Must be able to self-manage projects and interact with personnel (internal and external) in a manner that helps create a dynamic team-based, customer-focused culture.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Broadcast/livestreaming experience
• Motion graphics/animation
• Knowledge of resolutions and codecs for online video
• Familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema4D

Salary Range: $55k - $71k
