We are seeking an experienced Credit Strategy Analyst to drive the growth of our home-secured personal loan portfolio. This role focuses on Underwriting, Pricing, Loan amount & Fee decisions across all acquisition channels, driving strategy improvement, innovation and investor returns. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in lending, applying credit models, and data-driven decision-making to help us expand our market share while maintaining robust risk controls.

Duties & Responsibilities
- This individual will be responsible for monitoring, refining, and developing Credit strategies (including underwriting, pricing, loan amount & fees) for home secured personal loans
- Create test/control champion/challenger tests and monitoring to inform future strategies
- Provide scenario analysis/create financial impact sizing/develop new strategy test case
- Perform ad-hoc analytics, create reporting and presentations
- Work across functional areas to drive overall growth, product enhancements, and improve web funnel conversion rates across all channels.
- Partner with Decision Science to define and develop Credit models and tools
- Maintain overall risk and return targets for investors, particularly in a changing economic environment
Requirements - Development
- 5-7+ years’ experience in a similar analytical role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering, other quantitative major required; Master’s degree a plus
- Experience in the financial industry, credit risk and mortgage/home equity experience required
- Must be proficient in Python or similar, SQL, and MS Excel
- Must be proficient in interpreting data using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques
- Previous experience with Business Intelligence reporting (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc) is desirable
- Excellent English written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Highly independent and self-motivated to form opinions that are supported by data.
- Strong knowledge of modeling tools and techniques and use in strategy
- Ability to understand competitive pressure, economic trends and their business impacts.
- High Energy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
