Role Description

The Information Technology and Services team builds scalable technology solutions that have broad impact for our growing teams around the world. As a Business Intelligence Analyst on the Business Intelligence and Data team you will partner with key partners and establish standard methodologies and guidelines for creation, storage and publishing of data. By ensuring the health of our data, insights and metrics you will help design and implement purposeful architectures and roadmaps. This is an internal partner facing role where you will demonstrate your effective listening and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create prototypes, advanced reports and visualizations using BI tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc. to support business performance metrics.
  • Write complex SQL’s to build aggregations, summarizations to provide critical insights to business teams.
  • Develop business requirements documentation, process workflow diagrams, functional specifications, user acceptance test scripts , resolve optimal solutions and resolve gap from current state, dependencies and risks.
  • Identify data requirements for specific project or report requests. Includes identifying data mapping and definitions required to fulfill requests.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for troubleshooting solution issues and coordinating with multi-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in small teams and multi-task in high stress situations.
  • Work within the framework of the Project Management/Agile standards to deliver business needs quickly and establish delivery cadence.
  • Participate in the MDM, Data Governance and Data Quality processes.

Requirements

  • Advanced (3-5 years at least) Mastery in Reporting/Analytics and data visualization tools like Tableau, Superset and Business Objects, including Design, Development and Administration functions.
  • Expert in Business Model, Dashboard Reporting and Ad-hoc (self-reporting) design and development.
  • Strong programming skills, relational database skills with expertise in SQL and building reports.
  • Mastery in Business Intelligence and Data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Provide End to End solution in BI Design and Development.
  • Ability to design Physical and Reporting Data models for seamless cross-functional and cross-systems data reporting.
  • High expertise on Databases, data acquisition, ETL strategies and tools and technologies like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Boomi and others.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, JavaScript, HTML is a plus.
  • Broad understanding of multiple existing and next generation Business intelligence tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Finance, FP&A and Sales processes methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor lower level developers on definitive tasks.
