Quick overview: 

The Cloud Database Engineer\Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the following: 

• Cloud native data platforms 
• Data platform security 
• Data platform reliability 
• Data platform performance 
• Data platform capacity 

This role will provide reporting to software engineering teams as well as management in regard to security, reliability, performance and capacity. This role has administrative oversight on all data platforms. 

In this job, you will: 

• Own data persistence systems 
• Manage security of data persistence systems 
• Manage reliability of data persistence systems 
• Manage performance of data persistence systems 

We would love to speak with you if you have: 

• Degree in Computer Science or degree related to integrated systems
• Cloud Database Engineer certification(s) 
• Cloud Database Architecture certification(s) 
• Cloud Database Administrator certification(s) 
• 2+ years as a Cloud Database Engineer\Architect 
• 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer\Architect 
• 2+ years of public cloud   
• Microsoft SQL Server 
• Azure SQL Database 
• Azure Cosmos DB
