We're looking for an outstanding Competitive and Market Analyst based in our Rochester, NY or Bellevue, WA office. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to manage all market and competitive research to support EagleView's Product Strategy team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and analyze EagleView's markets, including competitor activity, product announcements, messaging/positioning, partnerships, and customer announcements; alert colleagues to competitive developments with immediate analysis and positioning.
  • Serves as a specialist on market and industry trends, technologies, and competitors by researching and writing thorough, effective, and timely analytic reports, combining in-depth written summaries with detailed financial and operational information and tables.
  • Establishes, organizes, and continuously updates a database of competitors and analogous research enabling various levels of access for our senior executives and field personnel
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitors' solutions, identifying strengths and weaknesses; develop talking points and tactics to defeat them in competitive deals.
  • Analyze competitors' corporate strategies and proactively make actionable recommendations for product development, marketing, sales, and other teams.
  • Create and maintain competitive battlecards, competitive positioning documents, detailed technical analysis reports, competitive feature comparison charts, and other competitive materials.
  • Provides support for Product Strategy Directors and Product Managers for business cases and the annual roadmap process.
  • Respond with urgency and quality to deal-related requests/inquiries from sales colleagues.
  • Perform market and competitive analysis projects on key strategic topics, such as win/loss analysis; manage external research vendors as needed.
  • Contribute to overall marketing and messaging strategy and execution, including competitive displacement campaigns.
  • Leverage market data and personal relationships to stay on top of industry trends and activity.
  • Maintain all competitive materials and resources for colleagues in a well-organized repository.
  • Create and maintain competitive sales enablement materials and deliver live enablement sessions to sales colleagues.

We'd like you to have:

  • Bachelors Degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize raw data into tactical and strategic perspectives
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiar with MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Project
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, and synthesize findings into meaningful conclusions.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, manage deliverables, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible team player who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%, domestically and internationally.
