Job Description

Sales Enablement helps our customers make data-informed decisions. In the highly competitive world of sales, companies invest a great deal of energy into analyzing the data from their engagement with customers to optimize and grow their business. The right candidate will be passionate about exploring complex data sets from different sources, making discoveries that our customers can directly leverage to drive their business.

The Highspot Data Analyst will contribute to the mission of the company by

  • Generating custom analytics for customers with sophisticated data needs
  • Applying statistical analysis to convert raw data into business insights that we can share with customers, the rest of the company, and the industry
  • Performing data cleansing and transformation on semi-structured data
  • Generating views on data that can be validated with customers and used as the prototype for advanced analytics features in the product

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges
  • Analyze and transform data from the product and from our business activities to generate and share deep insight
  • Design and deliver custom analytics that allows our customers and ourselves to make insightful data-driven decisions
  • Ensure timely delivery of recurring custom analytics to customers and internal stakeholders

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of customer-facing work experience
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL
  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis
  • Deep proficiency with Excel
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight
  • Experience programming with Python and with Jupyter (iPython) Notebooks
  • Unix Shell scripting
  • Experience with database concepts and schema design
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creative problem solving

Location

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
