We are looking for a world-class Data Quality Specialist to join DefinedData. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the entire organization to ensure that our B2B platform delights our users.

What will you do?

As a Data Quality Specialist within the DefinedData team you take responsibility for defining and measuring data quality standards for our Marketplace.

You will:

• Design and implement data-quality control processes to guarantee that our datasets meet and exceed the expectations of our clients;
• Work with costumer-facing teams to define the document KPIs and data-quality expectations;
• Manage data and metadata integrity for the datasets in our Marketplace;
• Design and/or perform data cleaning processes aimed at increasing data consistency and quality;
• Write crystal clear product specs;
• Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to expand our product to facilitate and automate aspects of your work;
• Facilitate a collaborative environment aligned with the company objectives;
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Data Quality Specialist would have:

• BSc/MSc in Computational Linguistics, Data Science or equivalent work experience;
• Deep understanding of machine-learning, data collection and data labeling processes;
• Practical knowledge in the fields of speech/text data processing, linguistics and/or image processing;
• Experience in applied statistical analysis;
• Familiarity with SQL databases and query writing;
• Experience with Python or similar scripting language in the context of data processing.
• Proven ability to effectively coordinate with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
