Role Description

As a Data Scientist focused on Revenue and Growth, you will be a key partner for our Product and Growth teams at Dropbox. You will play a crucial role in areas such as revenue forecasting, generating strategic initiatives ideas, driving analytical insights, and evaluating resource investments. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring Dropbox makes sound financial and strategic decisions that drive sustainable business growth. You’ll get substantial senior leadership exposure, focusing real-time on the highest priority business issues, and being plugged into every facet of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Build out automated and scalable forecasts in Python
  • Become an expert in the company’s ARR and Revenue data
  • Improve the team’s forecasting workflows through automation and ETL enhancements
  • Conduct advanced analytics, delivering impactful and actionable insights that drive decision making
  • Form productive relationships across Finance, Growth, Product, and Data Engineering

Requirements

  • 8+ years total work experience
  • 4+ years of data science or other forecasting work, 2+ years of data visualization
  • 2+ years at a high-growth tech company and/or investment banking
  • Working knowledge of the SaaS Subscription Business Model
  • Expert at data science and quantitative work in Python and SQL
  • You sweat the details and maintain a high level of integrity in your work
  • You are a self-starter who enthusiastically drives projects
  • You are able to build positive relationships with business leaders
