What We Look For In Our Engineers

You're curious about new things. When you see something you're unfamiliar with, you ask someone to teach you more about it, or just dive straight in and figure it out.

You want to automate everything. Automation solves problems for you and allows you to spend less time on mundane and repetitive tasks and more time learning and building things.

You’re a self starter and collaborative. You’re comfortable working independently as well as pairing or collaborating with other engineers. You ask for help when you need it, and you help your teammates. You make us better and vice versa.

You're a great communicator. You're excited to share what you know and eager to hear what others have to teach you.

You have a customer service mentality. When someone is struggling with a tool you built, you're there to help them understand it and get the most out of it.

You're always looking for ways to improve. Whether it's self-improvement through learning new skills, or improving the systems we build by making them faster, more reliable, or more observable, you're constantly on the lookout for opportunities to make things better.
