The Auth0 Marketing Team is looking for a strategic and collaborative Director, Analyst Relations to continue to grow the impact, reach, and execution of analyst relations at Auth0. As the Director, Analyst Relations, you will lead the AR team and serve as the interface between internal stakeholders and external third-party industry analysts. In addition to team leadership, this role will own the strategic long-term vision and successful execution of Auth0’s AR program. You are a highly-strategic and motivated team player who is forward-thinking, can work closely with various internal teams to align around this vision, identify primary areas of growth opportunity, and serve as a conduit of information between Auth0 and the analyst community. The ideal candidate will have served as a Senior Manager or Director of AR in previous roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS enterprise. This role is remote, based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada 

What you will do

  • Execute a longer-term strategic vision for the analyst relations program; lead internal and external initiatives to achieve the plan. 
  • Deepen existing relationships with primary analysts and firms to ensure that Auth0 is well-positioned with analysts who influence enterprise buyers.
  • Continually expand/enlighten analysts’ perspectives on identity management. 
  • Collaborate with teams across Auth0 from executives to product marketing to engineering to craft and communicate effective company messaging that will resonate with the analysts.
  • Hold informed conversations with top industry analysts based on knowledge about Auth0’s roadmap, product, market, and buyers. We are not looking for someone to just plan and schedule analyst interactions, but drive valuable and compelling calls with analysts.
  • Know and leverage Auth0’s customers and their use cases to show analysts the strategic direction of Auth0. Digest analysts insights and recommendations to inform product, product marketing and marketing leadership; manage longer term project recommendations from analysts.
  • Measure and report performance of analyst interactions and the program as a whole. 
  • Oversee budget for analyst relations investments. 
  • Be curious about Auth0’s competitors and our positioning to differentiate Auth0 in the minds of analysts.
  • Serve as strategic and project lead for major evaluations, such as the Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, etc.
  • Work with marketing/communications team and sales team to maximize analyst reports, surveys, and evaluations for internal and external audiences. 
  • Collaborate closely with key internal groups, such as Product, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Global Communications, on messaging strategy alignment and analyst interaction.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) plus at least 10 years of Analyst Relations experience plus 4 years as a People Manager
  • Experience in B2B marketing and communications for tech or SaaS organizations
  • An agile team player with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where direction and tactics can evolve quickly to meet goals
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software, cloud computing, and complex technical concepts 
  • High level of comfort working with senior leadership team 
  • Strong strategic thinking Strong communication skills
  • Strong bias for action
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills, and drive and energize projects across the organizationGreat interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with many internal/external groups
