About the role

The Director of Data Operations will lead and manage the data team across the

Stackline suite of products. This role will work cross functionally with internal and

external stake holders, Product, Data Engineering and Data Quality teams with a relentless

focus to ensure clients have the best Stackline experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop program roadmap that includes establishing a baseline of data quality performance and a plan to deliver incremental improvements.
• Work with analytics teams and business stakeholders to identify systemic data quality issues and coordinate resolution.
• Manage requests and establish priorities for data quality program; propose any data quality issues for escalation to stakeholder and engineering teams.
• Establish and evangelize operational best practices, frameworks and processes across all aspects of data operations.
• Deep sense of ownership and responsibility about everything that you work on.
• You are comfortable running a process end-to-end with a high degree of autonomy.

 

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data mining and data-set preparation using SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases.
• 5+ years of experience managing data related projects.
• Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions to monitor performance.
• Experience with AWS RedShift, S3, and other Cloud Data Warehousing industry tools.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated history of clean, concise written and verbal updates across all organizational levels.
• Creative problem solver: You are naturally curious, and can quickly research issues and offer new ideas or solutions.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics.
