About the Role

The Data & Services Engineering (DSE) Team builds and manages the data platform used by teams across the company to run the business. In addition, the tools, platforms, analysis, and customer engagements that the team provides are an essential way we scale our customer services organization.

What You'll Do

• Drive the strategy to let every function in the company leverage data in making key business decisions.
• Define the priorities and drive execution of data analytics projects on customer activity and health.
• Deliver critical tools that the post-sale teams rely on to support customers around the world, including Global 500 enterprises. These are built on a scalable, resilient app platform with a rigorous data protection model.
• Deliver a scalable, secure, performant, robust data platform relied on by teams across the company. It embodies a rigorous data protection model that accommodates global compliance requirements..
• Deliver on customer projects through tools and solutions that supplement in-person work done by the account teams.
• Hire, grow, and inspire a diverse team that includes backend and frontend engineers, data engineers, data analysts, and designers.
• Collaborate with business functions across the company, including pre-sale, post-sale, product, and operations teams, that deliver to and rely on the data platform.

Your Background

• Experience leading and building an analytics team. A hands-on leader, who knows how to apply the right level of situational guidance and encouragement.
• 7-10 years of experience with data engineering and analysis. You are very familiar with analysis models and algorithms and can distill compelling and actionable insight from the data. You have broad knowledge of the leading data platform technologies and how to leverage them.
• Experience leading an engineering team that delivers robust, secure, performant applications.
• Experience partnering with different business functions.
• Ability to present to C-level execs and do hands-on deep-dives with analysts.
• Ability to create a high morale and high performance team.
• Ability to summarize and visualize complex analyses to tell a compelling story.
• Familiar with global data protection requirements and what is required to satisfy compliance regulations (such as GDPR) and certifications (such as SOC-2 and ISO 27001).
