Position Summary:

The Conversion Marketing Team at Trupanion is looking for a seasoned analyst to join the team! We need a driven data expert who has the expertise to creatively come up with data-focused solutions to problems, mine data sources, highlight trends and opportunities, and communicate results. Successful candidates will be able to work independently, have insatiable curiosity, and share our joint passions of data and pets!

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Information expert with the ability to understand and translate data into recommended actions.
  • Serve as the conversion team’s “air traffic control” for all things related to data and metrics that help us own the Conversion business.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and provide evaluation of extracted data.
  • Provide marketing performance reporting of results against the organization’s KPI’s, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Heap, Marketo, and SiSense to analyze data daily and highlight trends to equip us in making informed decisions related to strategy and tactics.
  • Assist with the implementation of measurement tools and maintain marketing tracking and data quality as inputs to measurement tools like multi-touch attribution, customer lifecycle, lead scoring, etc.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses from start to finish: conceptualization, data gathering, analysis, presentation, and monitoring.
  • Cultivate effective working relationships with key internal business partners across the organization to build an environment of knowledge sharing.

Education, Registration & Certification / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative fields
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Experience using advanced Microsoft Excel, SQL, and statistics programs
  • Passion for guiding skills and collaborating with team members across the company
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work independently and in a team-based environment
  • Highly driven and motivated to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, preferably with experience in marketing analytics
