About the Position:

This Field Solution Architect for AI/ML & Analytics role at Qumulo is a high impact position with responsibilities including providing industry thought leadership to customers, supporting strategic sales opportunities, and closely following industry trends within the data analytics world.  This  role will be responsible for presenting at industry conferences, tradeshows and meeting with industry press and analysts.

The role requires energetic and engaging communications and presentation skills.  The successful candidate is someone able to captivate and influence a wide audience, from SysAdmins to Director level as well as internal product and engineering teams. This role will be supporting North America as a subject matter expert in Analytics & AI/ML solutions and will require travel to assist Sales Teams and attend trade shows.  Some international travel may be required. 

This position will focus on building solutions and reference architectures that leverage Qumulo in AI/ML workloads as well as other data analytics packages.  The ideal candidate will have a background in AI/ML initiatives as well as a strong understanding of where the industry is going. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong alignment with Qumulo Product Management and represent the voice of the field and customers to influence roadmap decisions and the company's strategic vision.
• Work with the Sales Teams to connect with System Administrators, Technical Champions and Upper Management of potential and existing customers.
• Participate in the Partner Advisory Council to drive technical thought leadership breakouts and strategic roadmap discussions.
• Work directly with the alliance's team to help build new partnerships with ISV’s specific to the data analytics and AI/ML markets. 
• Understand the industry trends for AI/ML and have a clear vision of where that industry is going along with the problems that they will be facing in the future and how Qumulo will help address those problems.
• Work with the Field CTO to align the vision of Qumulo as laid out by the product roadmap as it pertains to the vertical.
• Act as a spokesperson for events, trade shows, and analyst relations.
• Clear communication, both written and verbal, to Marketing, Product Management and Sales.
•  ~50% travel between Qumulo HQ, onsite with Customers and Tradeshows. 
• Promote Qumulo technologies through Social Media, Blogs and Podcasts

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of industry experience specializing in data analytics and AI/ML
• 5+ years of industry expertise in the storage industry
• Experience with AWS Sagemaker and Azure ML Services
• Machine Learning Frameworks including TensorFlow, Torch or Keras
• Distributed Computing Engines (Apache Spark) & Cloud Based Tools for high volume datasets with real time streaming (AWS Kinesis)
• Strong competencies of Cloud technologies, specifically in AWS, GCP, Azure
• Outgoing personality and interpersonal skills especially at public events
• Strong written skills with ability to create publishable quality copy
• Demonstrated presenter from creating compelling presentations to delivering them
