Job Description

  • Lead the building of logical data modeling techniques, and transformation methods
  • appropriate to requirements and architecture preferences.
  • Design the data structures needed to support dash boarding, reporting, and data
  • science projects, including dimensional data warehouses, column store databases,
  • OLAP cubes and other logical and physical organization techniques for a clinical and
  • pharmaceutical domain
  • Participate in discussions with business and technical teams about consolidation of
  • business data into data warehouses, data marts, data lakes and other data structures
  • Work with Product teams to leverage Patient Reported Outcomes and real time Clinical
  • data to develop a solution to enable Oncology stakeholders to understand treatment
  • and prescribing patterns, publish real world evidence for health economics and
  • outcomes, understand in real time, patient sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product and data engineering teams to develop solutions for Oncology
  • specific precision medicine at scale to classify and segment cohorts of patients. 
  • Perform deep analysis and inference on real time and real world data to enable
  • manufacturers to understand treatment and prescribing patterns for market research,
  • publish real world evidence for health economics and outcomes research, understand
  • real time patients who are diagnosed for sales force effectiveness, and gain the patient
  • experience through patient surveys and patient reported outcomes and more. 
  • Research business domain concepts and common data modeling approaches to
  • problems faced by the organization in the analytics arena, ensure completeness,
  • correctness and consistency of clinical data and data structure.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in clinical data analytics
  • Have familiarity handling high volume heterogeneous data Clinical Data, electronic health records.
  • Working knowledge of modern large-scale data systems and architectures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving skills, strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a group
  • Prior experience with developing bioinformatics analysis pipelines, Pharmacology and/or clinical related data analysis would be preferred 
  • PhD, M.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, Health Care administration, Statistics, Data Science
