About the Position

Assurance is growing rapidly, and we need a highly motivated Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will focus on marketing and advertising compliance across various lines of insurance business, with a focus on Medicare marketing. To succeed, you'll have a clear understanding of CMS marketing regulations and carrier requirements and become a subject matter expert on the spectrum of insurance products that Assurance offers. You’ll be responsible for providing compliance review, feedback, and partner support to Assurance’s Marketing, and Product departments for communications with the public prior to distribution. You know how to work in a manner that’s aligned with a culture of cross-functional collaboration.

You are a highly motivated self-starter who is ready to change the way the insurance industry handles compliance challenges. You love to learn new things and enjoy diving deep to get to the root of any problem. Not only are you adept at spotting patterns and anomalies, but you also use your creativity to work with business partners at the get-go. While you work well independently, you have a collaborative mindset and work well with a team.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

• Must have 3+ years minimum of Medicare experience and solid knowledge and understanding of Medicare Advantage regulations
• Firm understanding of Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines (MCMG) and an ability to interpret those guidelines
• Experience interacting with marketing professionals in the Medicare space
• An ability to track remediation and issue management findings with leadership
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills
• A natural curiosity to learn new things
• A desire to improve processes and an eye for quality; strong attention to detail
• The ability to handle the unexpected and the flexibility to pivot as needed
• Work independently on general assignments, projects, and complex tasks, under the direction of Compliance Manager or Director
