The Challenge
Industry advisors are innovative, experienced industry experts who influence the strategic direction of Qualtrics’ industry go-to-market strategies and partner with teams across the Qualtrics value chain to execute on the strategies. They bring the voice of the industry customer to amplify the efforts of Qualtrics teams: sales, product, solution engineering, solution strategy, value advisory, marketing, and customer success.
The Expectation for Success
You will know you are doing an extraordinary job when you:
- Achieve quarterly and annual industry revenue targets
- Consistently develop pipeline in partnership with Marketing
- Generate leading industry thought leadership
- Develop reusable industry-focused assets for internal go-to-market teams to leverage in customer engagements
Key Activities
- Develop global industry strategy in collaboration with Head of Industry Practice and Industry Strategy Team
- Translate industry customer needs into products/solutions ideas and collaborate with product teams to develop business cases for pursuing new product opportunities and influence product roadmaps
- Lead development of industry-specific use cases and corresponding product demos that help industry customers solve their business challenges
- Collaborate with Head of Industry Advisory to develop marketing strategy to improve Qualtrics’ brand and grow pipeline
- Support Head of Industry Advisory with generation of thought leadership on industry-specific experience management
- Drive development of sales messaging and corresponding assets (pitch decks, POVs, 1-pagers, etc.) that will resonate with industry customers
- Engage with enablement leader to develop enablement strategy, plan, and execution to bolster Qualtrics industry knowledge and help drive industry sales plays
- Participate in vetting potential industry partners (implementation, tech, and advisory partners) based on their ability to meet industry customer needs
- Provide industry-specific deal advisory support to key account teams with view to creating repeatable assets that can be leveraged by other parts of Qualtrics when possible
Qualifications
- Strong life sciences domain expertise: well-versed in challenges and opportunities impacting the various types of companies within life sciences, industry value drivers, industry technology stacks
- 8+ years of experience - combination of direct life sciences work experience and strategic consulting for life sciences ; SaaS and customer experience strategy knowledge and/or experience is a bonus
- Outstanding executive presence and communication skills to be able to engage with C-level executives
- Effective visual and verbal storytelling skills (e.g., logical structuring, focused on strategic business objectives)
- Skilled at driving cross-functional collaboration to accomplish industry strategy execution
- Undergraduate degree; MBA, MA/MS, Phd, or graduate degree in relevant field preferred
