Job Description

The Role:

Do you have that curious analytical mind with the sniffer for finding additional revenue & operational efficiencies? If so, we have the perfect role for you.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst who will join our Sales Operations team to provide Strategic Insights in support of a wide-range of Sales operational functions, including; forecasting, strategy & planning, compensation design & support, sales technology investments, process improvements, and PayScale’s go-to-market strategy. You bring strong Technical acumen with data and an intuition for business to help inform & influence our Sales team’s continued growth and evolution.

You are an expert in sales automation, process and productivity. You're analytical with the ability to make data sing for purpose and truly see around corners. You are experienced in ground breaking change during critical junctions of company growth -- Think process innovation meets clean-through-the-clutter. You will be responsible for bringing order to the organics without making it feel too rules based. You have an excellent understanding of sales incentives plans and sales enablement techniques. You currently lead operations for a large inside sales team with thousands of marketing qualified leads coming in every month.

In this role, you will support a blend of Sales Business Intelligence and Sales Strategy & Planning needs:

Sales Business Intelligence - Data, Insights, Analytics, and Forecasting

  • Drive the strategy, design, and implementation of reporting and analytical solutions that enable the end-to-end sales cycle and go-to-market design and execution
  • Improve our forecasting processes through data, analytics, and predictive models
  • Evaluate, develop and implement new, significant methods for data analysis to inform the sales organization about its performance
  • Build, Launch, and maintain predictive data models to help Sales team better identify target prospect accounts and plan their territories.
  • Lead conversations around definition and ongoing monitoring of Sales Metrics at all levels of the organization from CSO to Sales rep
  • Provide thoughtful analysis and provide recommendations to executives and department leaders
  • Grow our organizational maturity around reporting quality, data hygiene, and data governance

Strategy, Planning & Special Projects

  • Develop Territory Planning & headcount Coverage Models for our Sales Teams
  • Help set equitable quotas that vary based on segment & level
  • Research & validate individual and team quota attainment
  • Design, Drive and Lead execution of strategic Data projects in close partnership with other internal departments including Finance, Legal, Marketing, etc.

Qualifications

The Person:

The ideal individual for this opportunity brings the following to the table:

  • You are a highly analytical self-starter with sound decision-making capabilities.
  • You provide trusted and timely insights that drive sales productivity, revenue growth and support the implementation of go-to-market strategy.
  • You bring the technical ability to pull and stage data from multiple system and the statistical chops to interpret data in a meaningful way.
  • You tell insightful stories through data visualizations that speak to all audiences ranging from clients to Sales Reps to C-level leadership.

The Requirements:

  • You have a Masters Degree or above with specialty in finance, computer science, or other quantitative discipline
  • You possess 3+ years Sales Operations/Business Analysis experience
  • Your skills BI Tools & data manipulation are strong (Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics, PowerBI, etc)
  • Your track record of surfacing key insights to drive positive business change speaks for itself
  • You are proficient in Writing SQL and are familiar with data warehousing Techniques
  • An uncanny ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to audiences from staff to senior executive level
