The FLEXE Analytics team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the FLEXE team to drive insights from our data that enable the organization to make calculated, informed decisions. You will report to the Manager, Business Analytics and work to build out our detailed data model, analyze data using Python, create our standardized reporting products in Looker and BigQuery, and conduct ad hoc analyses for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical, communication and technical skills. Candidates should possess a natural curiosity for technology and be comfortable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collect FLEXE and customer requirements to help define our internal and external reporting needs
• Define the datasets needed to support our reporting requirements and partner with our Infrastructure Team to integrate disparate sources into Google BigQuery
• Build tools and perform analysis in Python that support various internal and external reporting needs
• Build Looker reports for both internal and external stakeholders that delivers the desired KPIs, information and insights
• Conduct ad hoc analyses as requested
• Continue to evolve both the data model and the reports as we bring on additional partners and platforms
• Peer-review others’ work for accuracy, scalability, and best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years as an analyst with hands-on experience using analytical/statistical methods.
• An understanding of BI solutions best practices and common pitfalls from architectural design, data source, ingestion, storage, analysis and visualization.
• Highly analytical and proven ability to solve problems with no instruction on day-to-day work and collaborate on methods and procedures for new assignments.
• Proven ability to manage your workload, organize and prioritize tasks, and clearly communicate status.
• Strong relational database background with hands-on experience building reports and dashboards. Preferred tool set: SQL, Python, Looker, Excel, Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Prefer bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Business or related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US. We will not be sponsoring visas for this role at this time.
