What you’ll be doing …

As Senior Manager, Software Engineering on Tableau’s Hyper Database team you will oversee a team of Software Engineers who are on a mission to develop a best-of-breed database service for analytics use cases and its integration into Tableau and Salesforce products. You and your team will be challenged to leverage your creativity and experience to create the fundamental underpinnings of our products that extend our customers’ ability to see and understand their data in real time.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include …

• Leadership and management of a combined engineering scrum team in the Database area, working closely with teams in Palo Alto, CA, and Munich, Germany
• Build a healthy team culture as part of a globally distributed team
• Effectively frame and drive resolving complex issues
