Job Summary

We are looking for a Strategist to support all aspects of our project work from creative problem solving to project management to relationship management. A successful Strategist deeply understands the problems we seek to solve, communicates clearly, is able to collaborate fluidly with our tight-knit team of Strategists and Designers, and is comfortable interacting with people at all levels of our client’s organizations. We welcome non-traditional paths into iF: our team is full of people with unique backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Investigate and distill large volumes of information on a given topic (e.g., “the internet of things” or “eGovernment technology”) into key insights and / or concise frameworks
• Prepare and present findings / reports to clients
• Partner with clients and other iFsters throughout a project's life cycle to define project goals and requirements and deliver on the vision
• Write and edit reports, presentations whitepapers, and website copy
• Work closely with visual/graphic and UX designers to craft engaging and impactful content in various formats (e.g., presentations or printed materials)

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience translating complex information into content that can be understood easily by multiple audiences
• Ability to think strategically and tackle problems from multiple perspectives
• Strong command of the spoken and written word
• Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity
• Basic knowledge of accounting and/or economics
• Strong proficiency in standard office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• 1-2 years of experience working in a business function (HR, finance, accounting, marketing, etc.) or as a management consultant
• BA/BS or equivalent required
