The mission of this role is to harness the power of Outreach’s data, establishing Outreach as a critical business engagement platform for go-to-market professionals. This role will help drive multiple initiatives, including Productionizing Insights (building a world-class reporting suite), Measuring what matters (build the right instrumentation), Leverage the Outreach data lake (drive a data-driven culture to consume from Outreach’s LakeHouse as single source of truth), and Build relationships with internal stakeholders and Outeach’s customers.


This role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence. Successful candidates typically have had diverse experiences across these functions. This skillset can bridge the gap across various teams and translate business requirements into data lake, analytics platform and insights platform requirements.

Your Daily Adventures Include

  • Define analytics and insights strategy and vision: Outline the analytics and insights strategy for long term and short term vision
  • Productionize insights: Building a world-class reporting suite - accelerate efforts of packaging data insights into reporting products that guide our stakeholders in making effective decisions through an intuitive experience
  • Measuring what matters: Drive instrumentation, monitoring, analysis and reporting of the success metrics for our analytics and insights platform capabilities.
  • Deliver flexible analytics: Define a framework for scaling insights in a self-serve manner for our customers (self-serve composer capability)
  • Leverage Outreach Data Lake: take on a thought leadership role of driving Outreach’s Insights platform to become the first and best customer for the data platform, Lakehouse.
  • Maintain a prioritized analytics product roadmap: Roadmap for developing reports and insights while working with Outreach’s customers and other internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Management across various Outreach products such as Core/Canopy/Kaia/Success Plans, Business Intelligence team, Customer Success, GTM, Marketing and Sales) 
  • Conduct research for analytics: own the customer, market and competitive research to build the analytics and insights platform product strategy for the enterprise space.
  • Drive cross-functional partnerships: Partner with stakeholders across Customer Success, BI, PMM, GTM and Sales teams to deliver Outreach analytics and insights.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience building great products, including responsibilities driving prioritization, trade-offs, timelines and go-to-market execution
  • Strong technical aptitude; deeply familiar with system integration strategies, CRM or other core B2B solutions, and modern application development
  • Deeply analytical, high EQ, curious and process oriented. Skilled at rapidly assessing a product landscape and synthesizing highest priority opportunities
  • Ability to define long-term business strategy, and drive impact on short-term product goals
  • Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with the demonstrated capacity to lead, motivate and work well with others
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
  • Strong skills around cross-functional collaboration, influence, and communication
  • Ability to achieve clarity and drive focus in complex domains
  • Strong analytical abilities and prior experience with building business cases, data analysis, and problem-solving
