As part of the data science team, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery and operation of all machine learning capabilities across ExtraHop products.

At Extrahop a data engineer is someone who develops, constructs, tests, and maintains data access systems, such as databases and large-scale processing systems that collect, organize, and present data to internal consumers.  We are looking for someone who can recommend and implement technology to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality at Extrahop.

Duties, Skills & Responsibilities

• Experience with multiple: AWS, Postgres, Redshift, Airflow, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Network Security Best Practices, Gitlab.
• Ability to write production-quality code utilizing knowledge of data structures and algorithms with Python or related programming languages
• Understanding of network protocols including IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP
• Knowledge of building scalable and high-performance systems
• Understanding of various product-development life cycles
• Versatility and willingness to learn new technologies on the job
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, and mathematics/statistics or other quantitative fields
