Blue Nile is looking for a rock star Test and Learn leader to join our
performance marketing team. This is a key role in shaping our online customer experience and improving our future customer journey within our performance marketing channels.
You are both creative and analytical, with strong communication, relationship building, and project management skills. You are an accomplished optimization professional who loves understanding customer behavior, is experienced putting together comprehensive testing plans, and is effective working in cross-functional teams focusing on improving customer experience. Most importantly, you are a strategic marketer that is obsessed with CRO.
What you will do:
- Work directly with the performance marketing team and be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel
- Lead the execution of all your experiments, and then present your findings and next steps to other senior leaders from other departments (including C-Suite)
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional segment to influence/guide testing strategy and architecture for each experiment
- Work closely with the Analytics team to analyze test data and provide interpretation, guidance, and recommendations to aid decision-making and drive business performance.
- Collaborate with tech department in executing tests and ensure correct tracking implementation.
- Maintain experimentation calendar and ensure that tests are scheduled and executed to meet deadlines and provide clean data for analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related quantitative fields (Economics, Math, Statistics, or Engineering)
- 7+ years of experience in A/B Testing/Experimentation
- 4+ years of hands-on experience utilizing testing platforms (Google Optimize, Optimizely, Unbounce, etc.)
- Deep analytical mindset that is obsessed with tracking and improving KPIs
- Solid understanding of Product Marketing and UX principles
- Strong understanding of interpreting data of comparative analyses
- Foundational understanding of HTML/CSS
- Basic SQL knowledge and proficiency in excel
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with multi-channel marketing a plus
