Data Analytics Manager is a key member of the Strategy and Analytics Team and will report directly to the Director of Sales Operations and Head of Analytics. A successful candidate is a naturally curious individual who enjoys having executive level visibility and making an impact by solving complex problems utilizing data. This individual must be able to manage a team that maintains large data sets and present insights to internal and external stakeholders including C-suite on a routine and on-demand basis. 
Role & Responsibilities:

Analytics, Insights & Strategy

• Manage a team of skilled data analysts and coordinate with cross-functional partners in Finance, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Product to help develop data-informed business strategies and roadmaps
• Be creative; proactively investigate the functions of the business and validate through intensive data exploration to uncover new insights and ways to approach problems 
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports monthly, quarterly, yearly and upon request to stakeholders and management
• Perform data exploration on user behavior (e.g. cohort analysis, conversion funnel, etc). 
• Have experience structuring data models in a scalable, thoughtful way

Dashboards and KPIs

• Develop and maintain well-organized and insightful reports, dashboards and other forms of data visualizations to support business awareness and decision-making. Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of key business initiatives
• In cooperation with Head of Analytics and Operations Center of Excellence, ensure that the data is well trusted by the organization by developing, tracking, and enforcing consistent data definitions, documentation and assumptions across KPI metrics and reporting

• BA/BS in Database Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Programming or related topics strongly preferred or equivalent work experience. MS/MA a bonus.
• 5-7 years proven work experience as a data analyst/manager or business data analyst/manager
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and data visualization packages (PowerBI), databases (SQL or other), or programming (Python, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS)
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Well-organized, critical thinker, dependable, self-starter, strong communicator
• Metrics-oriented, optimization and modeling experience ideal
• Knowledge of Imaging, Aviation, GIS, Programming or Meteorology is desirable
• Advanced Microsoft Suite, Power BI, JIRA/Confluence, QuickBase and Salesforce is desirable
• Familiarity with Eagleview Software Suite a plus
