We are searching for a Technical Engagement Manager to help plan, execute, and maintain the complex software and data integrations at the heart of each customer engagement.

As a Technical Engagement Manager, you'll be in the center of a fast-paced, exciting, and high-growth organization. You are charged with representing SoundCommerce and the Customer Success team by supporting a portfolio of world class consumer brands and retailers. As the primary point of contact for technical integrations, you’ll work with stakeholders across IT, marketing, finance, product, engineering, and customer success to develop project plans for quality and timely implementations. Responsibilities include defining scope, timelines, resources, inputs, and deliverables required for integrating customers to the SoundCommerce platform. You will improve and streamline our onboarding processes with new approaches and techniques advocating for customer success, influencing the product roadmap, and delivering solutions that delight our customers. We’re looking for innovative, well-organized, team-oriented professionals with a strong track record of execution, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams. 

Responsibilities 

  • Represent both the product and the customer experience across multiple teams in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • Define success criteria and understand the business needs of consumer brands and retailers in a dynamic business environment.

  • Develop and streamline onboarding processes to continuously improve integrations.

  • Lead business analysts and engineers throughout the onboarding and data validation processes while maintaining relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.

  • Translate contractual statements of work (SOWs) to develop project plans for quality and timely implementations.

  • Standardize presentations, SOWs, tools, and best practices for the Customer Success and Product team.

  • Partner closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to guide the direction of our product offerings and implement projects.

You

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Proven success managing dynamic account portfolios

  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, consumer brand, project management, and/or consulting strongly preferred

  • Effective and comfortable interacting across a range of stakeholders at mid and large brands and retailers, including the C-Suite.

  • Experience in project management including defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

  • Technical knowledge of data integration sources and mapping

  • Proficient in SQL

  • Problem-solving passion

  • Customer obsession

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, think outside the box, optimize processes and lead change

  • Composed, poised and professional demeanor in all situations

  • Show independence and flexibility in dealing with multiple complex issues

  • Accomplished range of skill from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed team leadership

  • Ability to execute programs and projects with minimal resources. Highly organized.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Tenacity to keep issues top of mind of relevant stakeholders and conviction to make the right decisions
