Role

The role of analytics manager is accountable for meeting the needs of their key stakeholder in their selected area of focus ensuring the function has the required analytics and insights to achieve their tactical and strategic goals.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage analytics and insights needs of global and regional safety/speciality operational service delivery teams while improving the status-quo to meet and exceed targets.
  • Collaborate and work with Safety/Regional Directors and Service Ops teams.
  • Set and balance multiple priorities and think strategically for measurable outcomes.
  • Contribute to and influence team strategy while being heavily focussed on execution.
  • Focus on developing team members and ensuring overall team objectives are met.
  • Work with direct reports, teammates, stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
  • Focus on allocation, completion and quality of team work while guiding, coaching and advising on best practices.
  • Ability to tailor insights to present clearly to audiences from varied backgrounds

Qualifications

  • 1-2 yrs of prior management or mentoring experience
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
  • 5+ years top tier analyst or consulting experience in business intelligence or analytics
  • Experience with customer service or customer operations analytics a huge plus
  • Hands-on experience with one or more language(s) used for querying (e.g. SQL)
  • Experience with Big Data/ Predictive Analytics platforms/languages like Hive, Python, R
  • Experience with Tableau or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboards
  • Hands-on to get things done as needed and ability to work without continual guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
