About You: 

Are you interested in having a huge impact on a product? From pixel to job-to-be-done, we are looking for a Brand Designer to help the world's goods flow more efficiently through deep problem solving and understanding of our users.

You'll be deeply integrated into product and will learn an intricate system between many layers of complexity. Ever wondered how that phone you're looking at got into your hands from across the world? Do you know how many people were involved and why it was or wasn't late to arrive at your doorstep? The world of logistics is deeply fascinating if you take the time to look, and Logixboard is at the forefront of helping thousands of Freight Forwarders and Shippers do their jobs better.

You Will:

  • Help build a design culture of openness, transparency, and collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Support, and Product
    • Help train your cross-functional teams in thinking like a designer by educating others on design thinking, brand experience, and design-driven storytelling
    • Help develop strategic initiatives with marketing, and execute on the tactical work across a multitude of platforms
    • Communicate and live company values and create beautiful deliverables like: Company handbook, Onboarding materials, User Research Artifacts
    • Evolve, create, and maintain Brand Guidelines
    • Communicate and collaborate by explaining your work and how you came about it; seek feedback and are always happy to get it from anywhere
    • Help create a process for effectively scaling creative design across all orgs in the company
  • Create an impeccable and cohesive brand identity that is built for the future and promotes a seamless experience through our users' end-to-end journeys with Logixboard
    • Collaborate with Marketing, and others to establish a clear and concise brand voice, tone, and personality
    • Continually iterate on concepts in an effort to make the brand relevant and relatable to our audience(s)
    • Collaborate with Product Design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience between Marketing and Product
    • Be an advocate for consistent and cohesive design throughout the company
    • Evolve brand identity, colors, typography, voice
  • Build a framework for scaling creative
    • Keep an eye out on the future and how to grow out of your position from IC to IC/Creative Director and help with hiring future members of the Brand Team, from Content Strategists to Brand Designers that will help us scale
    • Help identify creative talent to help continue to evolve the brand and its perception with our customers and users
    • Work with UX Research and Marketing to develop a greater understanding of Logixboard’s customers and end-users in order to keep evolving the brand

We are looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience 
  • Experience creating visual identities in collaboration with Product and Marketing
  • In-house or agency experience communicating brand values and executing on marketing work
  • Creativity, passion and aptitude for visual design, expert understanding of design principles: Color theory, typography, layout
  • Strong communication skills in articulating design decisions, giving and receiving critical feedback, both written and verbal
  • Curiosity for things you don't understand, and a desire to truly help where you can
  • Humility, respect, and genuine kindness; treating people like humans, not resources
