Job Summary

 

You will help drive the vision and direction of our visual efforts across marketing and product. Our ideal candidate is a multidisciplinary designer, taking projects from concept to execution across a wide range of disciplines and target audiences. You will have experience in both print and electronic media and can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. Candidates with strong visual design experience and a desire to grow their UX/UI experience are a good fit for this role.

Responsibilities 

  • Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media
  • Work closely with Marketing to design presentation materials and templates for campaigns, sales and leadership keynotes that showcase Navigating Cancer in compelling ways
  • Using an established UI component library collaborate with the product and UX team to create software prototypes using Sketch and Marvel
  • Help research and design rich visual user personas and journey maps that help communicate the needs and experiences of our users.
  • Collaborate with UX team to maintain UI library
  • Create and/or refine web ready graphics including logos, icons and other graphical elements for our solutions and website
  • Help design customer-facing training and sales support materials
  • Design and manage a branded template system
  • Help create and maintain both company and customer branding guidelines and logo standards

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years professional design experience
  • Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, WordPress templates, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentations
  • Experience with Sketch, Marvel, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, JIRA and Confluence are all big pluses
  • Experience designing in the healthcare space is also a big plus
  • A desire to branch out and participate in User Experience design
  • Ability to deliver around all aspects of a project from concept to launch
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions & the problems they are solving with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • A strong design portfolio 
  • Passion for the mission of Navigating Cancer and a strong desire to impact an up-and-coming healthcare technology company while improving the lives of cancer patients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts or relevant field is a plus
