Garmentory is looking for a Graphic Designer to help produce emails, ads, on-site campaign assets and homepage splash images. This person should be able to adapt quickly to established styles. An interest in emerging and independent fashion is a plus.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, effective communicator. They will be working closely with our Marketing and Merchandising teams on major campaigns that may require multiple iterations. 

We expect candidates to have some availability during core business hours with a commitment of up to 30 hours per week. This contract will be for a minimum of 3 months with a possible month by month extension.

Help support our mission to become the ultimate destination for sustainably produced goods from independent and local businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of a weekly task list of assets
  • Design and implement email marketing campaigns
  • Create videos, gifs or animations
  • Adapt design style to meet in-house design standards
  • Take feedback and adjust accordingly
  • Working cross-functionally with several teams

Qualifications:

  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Understands the Garmentory brand
  • Inclusive, courageous and curious
  • Availability during regular business hours
  • Prior experience in e-commerce is a plus
  • Has a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Can get things done without supervision
  • Is a positive person and has a proactive approach 
  • Has a natural empathetic manner
  • Loves powering through tasks
  • Is flexible/comfortable with change
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (including motion) and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Demonstrable interest in emerging and independent fashion

Compensation:
$25-$30/hour
