We are looking for someone interested in working in a fast paced, software company that is blazing trails in the IT automation space. We’re looking for a candidate who picks up new skills quickly and easily, has a thirst for knowledge, possesses a strong work ethic, and has an excellent attention to detail.

As the Graphic / Digital Designer at Chef you will be responsible for the conceptualization and design work for the delivery of beautiful and engaging content across websites, digital campaigns, videos, and events, along with other graphic applications of Chef’s guides and publications, catalogs, PowerPoint presentations, informational diagrams, corporate identity, SWAG, infographics, sell sheets and promotional collateral. The Designer may also assist with design comps for directories and new products including products for use in email and web channels.

If you are highly creative, love collaborating across dynamic cross functional teams and are open to applying real time feedback and edits to your work, this could be a great role for you. In this role you will work closely with your peers in the Marketing and Training departments, executive leadership, product management, engineering and consulting organizations to develop visual concepts and creative content.

Responsibilities

  • Create multimedia assets including graphics, templates and layouts for use across web properties, social media, events, email campaigns, SWAG etc.
  • Edit videos; creating a high-output stream of video assets
  • Collaborate with teammates across the organization
  • Leverage both project briefs detailing project specifications as well as fielding ad-hoc design requests
  • Create solid information designs, concepts and sample layouts
  • Partner with operations teams to make decisions based on A/B tested data
  • Proactively manage time and work towards deadlines
  • Provide light image retouching and color correction support for assets
  • Quality control to ensure accuracy and a high creative bar
  • Present work to team and key stakeholders for review, feedback and approval
  • Create great design experiences across diverse platforms

Qualifications

  • BA in Graphic Design, related degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in graphic/digital design
  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects proficiency
  • Google Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint experience
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Adaptable, independent and quick learner
  • A portfolio of business-related materials
