As an Icon Designer contracting on-site with the R&D UX team, you will work closely with world-class Design, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to conceptualize and create pixel-perfect modern icons that improve the usability and accessibility of our products and services. You’re a talented individual with exceptional time management skills, adept at investigating the unknown, and have an attention to detail and passion for user centric design practices. You’ll leverage your creative skills to produce iconography, illustrations, and other creative assets, all while working to meet tight deadlines and an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product engineers, and product managers to conceptualize and produce icons be used in the product and support documentation
• Self-motivated individual with the drive to conceptualize with minimal oversight, evolving solutions over the course of the project
• Manage, prioritize and track work item requests throughout the production cycle
• Ensure feedback is taken into account, addressed accordingly and responses are communicated in an effective and timely manner
• Create and maintain style guides reflective of the master brand
• Work with user research and geopolitical guidelines to ensure usability, accessibility and public relations acceptance criteria are met

Requirements

• Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth and thoughtful icons design process
• Proficiency with industry standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or equivalent products
• A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in iconography, visual design, and related work areas

Bonus Points

• Experience in designing for professional desktop software, e.g. 3D modeling and content creation tools
• Proven track record of successfully delivering results in an agile development environment
