About the Role

This role will lead our onboarding and content migration to Skilljar, our new LMS system.

This contract will last approximately 4 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as project manager for our Skilljar implementation, including managing the timeline for onboarding, content migration, and go-live for DreamBox
  • Quickly learn Skilljar platform and serve as ‘super-user’ for DreamBox stakeholders, including developing DreamBox specific training content for roll out
  • Migrate existing online content to Skilljar platform, communicating risks and timelines to internal stakeholders
  • Build new DreamBox content on Skilljar platform and manage cutover from current platform
  • Work with SVP, Client Success as an advisor to define success criteria for customer online learning services

About You

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Instructional Design for technology companies
  • Must be able to work core business hours in the Pacific Time Zone
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content, providing demonstrable business impact
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of various LMS systems; Skilljar is a bonus
  • Knowledge of e-learning tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and Storyline
  • Deadline focused, organized and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Outstanding communication, relationship building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Understands impact of emerging learning trends and implications for online learning services
  • Fast learner and great problem solver
  • Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills, solutions focused approach
  • Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience working with EdTech companies or as an educator in the K-12 space adds valuable perspective, but is not a requirement
