Instructional Designer

Within Chewy, the Chewy Health team is focused on redefining how vets and pet parents care for their pets and are on a multi-year journey to build a set of new pet parent and veterinarian facing services, delivered via our Practice Hub platform, that make it easier to keep pets of all shapes and sizes leading healthy, happy lives.
As part of this mission, Chewy Health is currently seeking an experienced individual for our Instructional Designer, Training position to join our Healthcare Services team. This individual will work closely with the Clinic Sales, Clinic Enrollment, Customer Success, and other key stakeholder teams inside Chewy to understand training needs and define, build, and execute Chewy Health's internal and clinic-facing training.
What You'll Do:
- Develop training strategy, curriculum, and content for internal and external users of program
- Align external clinic training as part of the onboarding process
- Build, coordinate, and lead training sessions with Customer Service (FL/Dallas), Pharmacy Techs (KY) and other internal stakeholders
- Maintain program User Guides and other instructional material
- Develop Quick Tip videos to be integrated into the Practice Hub and future program user experiences
- Evaluate options for training compliance (e.g., certification program, gamification, etc.)
- Build and execute internal program demo badges (e.g., compounding, vet diet, etc.)
- Gather ongoing feedback as part of training sessions and partner with internal stakeholders to evolve the training strategy as new challenges and opportunities present
What You'll Need:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience related to Learning and Development, Instructional Design and/or hands on Training
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
- Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and quantify associated benefits; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with customers and partners remotely or in person
- Data driven with analytical background; comfortable pulling data
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer/client relationship building skills
- Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
- Position may require travel
Bonus:
