We’re looking for an experienced, brand-obsessed Lead graphic designer who loves bringing stories to life through powerful, customer-centric design. The right person will have an eye for top-quality B2B marketing design and a research-driven mindset to help connect design strategy to business results. You’ll play a key role in elevating Outreach’s brand and marketing program, to ensure we serve the right content (tailored for the right persona / industry / segment) throughout the customer journey. Whether we’re building brand awareness, accelerating pipeline, winning deals or evangelizing our existing customer base, you’ll help develop it all!

You’ll help build and nurture a design team of both in-house teammates and contractors, so you’ll not only roll your sleeves up to create top-tier design pieces yourself, but also coach and equip others to produce branded content. You’ll have a strong hand in almost every public-facing asset at Outreach, so this role is perfect for someone looking to grow in their design leadership and make a lasting visual stamp on this high-growth industry!

Your Daily Adventures

  • Collaborate with product marketers, freelance writers, platform design partners, junior in-house designers, external design agencies, sales professionals, customers, and industry experts to inform how we apply creative solutions to a variety of needs
  • Translate content needs, key messages and powerful stories into well-designed, effective, stunning art that meets the needs of internal key stakeholders and most importantly, our external audience
  • Present intentional design strategies, concepts and prototypes, and communicate the underlying rationale with confidence to your team and company leadership
  • Armed with clear product messaging and narratives — partner with the content team to bring stories to life, by creating market-ready designed assets, such as:
  • An infographic or custom landing page for the website to drive awareness
  • An e-book, or flagship event design needs (e.g. Unleash) to drive interest
  • A product demo landing page or product overview to drive decision-making
  • A sales pitch deck or product roadmap assets to drive action
  • An ABM-direct mail invitation to an intimate event or graphics to support our growing Customer Community, The Peak, to drive customer expansion
  • Manage contractor relationships and successfully deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget — this includes scoping projects, managing workflows, reviewing content, effectively answering questions to set our contractors up for success
  • Establish internal processes and roles / responsibilities in place, to effectively project manage creative requests that come in from around the company, with support from the Content Team
  • Maintain and improve our content planning process and calendar through Asana so we can execute on strategy in a highly scalable, repeatable way

Your Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5-7 years in a design role at a marketing agency or high-growth SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of common design patterns and principles
  • The ability to think creatively and share brilliant ideas of how to make content of all types interesting and impactful
  • Portfolio showcasing B2B design required
  • Experience leading junior designers, freelancers and vendors to create branded content that sings
  • Are skilled in presenting and explaining your work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders (including design-minded teammates and those who are less familiar with best practice)
  • Proactively seek feedback to deliver world-class design solutions
  • Impeccable organization and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with many stakeholders
  • A high sense of urgency and organization while juggling multiple projects
  • Proven ability to create, follow and coach other designers to follow brand guidelines, to ensure content is consistent
  • Passionate about the details and are excited to keep pushing your work until it’s pixel-perfect and world-class
  • Experience with sales teams / challenges / high-growth start-ups is a plus

Please include these in your application:

  • A link to your online portfolio and password and / or a few examples of content you produced (Required)
