Job Content & Scope: 
Join the Trupanion enterprise Learning and Development team! The Learning Experience Designer supports team member development and growth by designing and delivering solutions aligned to our business goals. Solutions may include programs or content to support leadership and soft skill building, diversity, equity and inclusion capability building, and career or talent resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Learns and understands Trupanion’s business and goals and partners across the business to identify and create impactful learning solutions.
  • Leads the full cycle of project/program management including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Applies the principles of adult learning, learning styles, and various instructional design approaches to solutions.
  • Identifies and uses the most appropriate technologies and modalities to deliver solutions.
  • Uses strong facilitation skills to deliver meaningful learning experiences.
  • Designs and implements evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of programs/solutions.
  • Recommends and implements program and process improvement.

What You Add to Trupanion’s Culture:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Learning and Development
  • 4-year degree in Instructional Design, Talent Management, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with instructional design, facilitation, and creating leadership and soft skill-building programs/solutions
  • Experience with learning authoring tools and technology (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, LMS, etc.)
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Project management skills including the ability to create action plans, timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Builds and maintains strong, collaborative working relationships with team members.
