Principle UX designer, Maven for Consumers:

 In this role you will:

  • User experience design (interaction and visual design) and/or conversational experience design, and Interactive design prototyping
  • Highly technical concepts and close collaboration with a highly technical audience
  • Developing and conducting user research studies, synthesis of feedback, and design of inspiring solutions based on customer insights.
  • Creation of interaction, visual and motion design documents and prototypes including user scenarios, task flows, conceptual models, storyboards, wireframes, motion studies, visual style guidelines competitor analysis, and heuristic analysis
  • Defining and guiding the creation of a design language
  • Creating and defining UI pattern libraries and interaction guidelines
  • Development processes and methodologies including agile

 Your qualifications are: 

  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally with design, program, and engineering teams from design concept to design solution, setting UX guidelines, creating assets, and aiding in bug fixes to ensure bar-raising quality all the way to market. 
  • Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience and associated UI framework and assets on a range of products; follow through with the processes and tactics to fulfill the vision
  • Use various inputs to identify and define exciting new concepts, opportunities, and customer problems.
  • Oversee close coordination with the product management team to develop a shared vision of a product and then lead a process to define the experience and design to deliver on the product’s objectives
  • Create pattern libraries, templates, and tools for a variety of users on our platform

Work strategically with other executives and team members across the organization.

  • Envision, design and communicate inspiring concepts and concrete solutions for Conversation Design experiences for a variety of platforms (speech, text, visuals and combinations of these), based on deep understanding of customers
  • Lead by example and guide people and teams to design and create, sketch or build scenarios, storyboards, flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and other artifacts to effectively communicate a design vision, concepts, and detailed design solutions
  • Collaborate closely with leadership of the team to plan, define objectives, success criteria
  • Develop comprehensive plans to drive strategic user research and effectively collect and use customer feedback to improve the user experience of our products and platform
  • Plan and facilitate creative design and product planning sessions
  • Explore and define methods to ensure design quality and efficiency
  • Explore and define new UX models, patterns and guidelines
  • Share design vision and solutions with stakeholders, including sr leadership

 What you need for success:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in digital design, graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years professional experience as an interactive designer / user experience designer; experience in human computer interaction.
  • Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer of commerce mobile apps
  • A portfolio demonstrating your process and expertise in designing (and delivering) delightful products and experiences targeted to a professional audience
  • Experience in data-driven analytics capabilities and an understanding of current speech and language technologies. Experience shipping consumer products.
  • Experience working across teams to synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior management.
