Product Design - Protect Team
Role Description
Security is top of mind for our customers. Dropbox wants to help people who are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of their content but do not have the time or training of traditional IT admins to do so. Increasing data privacy regulations worldwide are putting a growing security burden on freelancers, creators and small businesses who don’t have the staff or knowledge to handle it. Existing security solutions are either extremely complex, not privacy oriented, or geared towards big companies enterprise. There is an unmet need for something that just works and is just simply safe.
In this role, you will create new features that enable creators and small businesses to protect and secure their most sensitive and confidential information. You’ll collaborate with likeminded designers, engineers and product managers to define product strategy and execute on experiences that are simple and easy to use. We’re looking for curious and inventive full stack product designers to create end-to-end experiences — from identifying and understanding pain points to owning the craft and finish of every detail in the product.
